Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality software through rigorous testing processes.
Must have experience in Ecommerce - Shopify preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to test planning and strategy development
- Create and execute test cases based on project requirements
- Conduct various types of testing, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing
- Report and track defects, ensuring proper documentation
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Participate in the setup and maintenance of test environments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual and automation)
- Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems Example: GUI Testing Tools, Figma, Test Complete, Selenium, Postman, Swagger, JMeter, Google Page speed.
- Basic understanding of CSS & HTML
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Ecommerce domain knowledge
- Shopify Knowledge
